It’s arguably the most wholesome show on television. It’s full of charming contestants, and tasty challenges – oddly calming compared to American cooking TV. But if you’re left wondering what to watch watch after the Great British Baking Show- you’ve got a lot to choose from!
The Great British Bake Off or GBBO is called The Great British Baking Show for American audiences, due to a copyright held by Pillsbury. The show has been tremendously successful, and after a stint on PBS in America, you can now find new episodes on Netflix.
I find myself always wanting to watch more each week, and especially at the end of every season. That’s when I turn to a few of these other great shows like the Great British Baking Show! And the best part? You can stream them all from anywhere in the world!

Nadiya Hussain was a standout winner from the sixth series of the Great Brisitsh Baking show, and she’s recently brought her talents straight to Netflix.
This eight-part cookery series “Nadia Bakes” includes recipes for her most indulgent desserts, and most are very family friendly! You can also check out “Nadiya’s Time to Eat” for more food “scrummy” ideas.

#4. Sugar Rush
This High energy baking competition isn’t as soothing as the great british baking show, but it is impressive! Each episode features four professional baking teams competing in a baking competition for a prize of $10,000.
Between cupcakes, confections, and a show stopping cake round you’ll have plenty to drool over. Plus you can catch spin off series Sugar Rush Extra Sweet, and Sugar Rush Christmas that you’ll enjoy watching if you like the great british baking show!

One of the most unique baking shows like the Great British Baking show, is this Sugar rush spin off – called Sugar High. If you’ve ever watched through gritted teeth when bakers have a hot day in the tent, you’ll love the mastery of these talented “Sugar Artists”.
These contestants compete in two rounds of sugar sculpting challenges, full of color, technique, and creativity. The best team walks away with a nice prize of $10,000.

One of the best shows to watch after the Great British Baking Show, is one where you get to watch the professionals at work! This GBBO spin off series sees the best home bakers, swapped for the best pro teams.
In this series you’ll marvel at pastry chefs from top hotels, restaurants and small businesses take on tasty challenges. They’re used to working under massive pressure, in a pursuit to become the best patisserie team in Britain!

#7. Zumbos Just Desserts
Star pastry chef Adriano Zumbo invites you into a Willy Wonka Style wonderland, in his Netflix hit show, “Zumbo’s Just Desserts”. It’s a great show to watch if you like the Great British Baking show, because it also features some of the most talented home bakers in the world!
I especially like the fantasy filled elements of the challenges, which are usually based around a unique food or theme that you’ll never see on another baking show!
